I wanted to do something special for our now 13 year old for his birthday. Balloons of course, but I wanted one of those lawn thingies where they have flamingos or something so it really screams “birthday!”

Not only was everything boring, and the same old thing, but nothing really for teens. Everything I’d seen was super hokey, and frankly, priced ridiculously… So we made our own!

I’d designed this in AI and painted it on Masonite. The Mr. did all the cutting and gluing…Our son was surprised!
