I’ve worked with this line before, but not in this way as far as color. I’m going to live with it for a few days, and go back to it…I don’t really have more to say than that. Sometimes we do look at things for too long and then find things wrong. There could be something wrong, but more often than not, there’s isn’t. It’s our imagination or something in our brains wanting to find something wrong. When I revisit this, I’ll have a much better perspective. This seems awfully serious for me, I’m usually drawing a lot of quirkiness and whatnot…But one thing positive for sure, I’m growing. So whether I stay with this technique and expand on it, or not, I’m realizing what I can do… : )
Ooh, what great bold colors and dramatic shadows! This turned out beautifully, Andi! 🙂
Beautiful work! I’m so excited to see your experiments lately. You’re definitely pushing yourself to the next level! Keep it coming!
Thanks ladies!! I was going to try this in Corel too, with a watercolor look…I definitely like to push myself, but I think now I can just create new stuff for the portfolio! ; )
This is just beautiful!
So beautiful! A big departure, but that’s why it’s so exciting. It’s a shame artists have to stick to a “style.”
I love this technique. It’s beautiful! There’s a hint of antique Japanese prints in it that I really like. I hope you do more.
